    Ragging is a criminal offence as per the Supreme Court verdict. It is an offence under the Indian Penal Code which defines ragging as:  ”Causing, Inducing, Compelling or Forcing a student, whether by way of practical joke or otherwise to do any act which detracts from doing any lawful act.”

    Ragging in all its forms is totally banned in our ‘Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College’ in its departments and all its premises(Sports,Cafeteria,Classrooms) whether located within the campus or outside and in all the means of transportation of students whether public or private. Here entrants are uniquely & cordially welcomed by “Tilak Ceremony” and Juniors are treated by their seniors as “Kith & Kins”.
