Food is always the prime concern of all beings be it helman or other kind of le Vice creature one works dawn to dusk to feed his/her stomach to upkeep the body and soul together. It is rightly said, that our life is dominant of what Cheom we eat But what about those who rarely get to have one time's meal a day. It is a kind of reality that multitudes of our brethren face everyday. The thought of being hungry for long, horrifies us. But the economically weaker sections of the society are bound to undergo such horrified reality. To cut down their troubles, Food bank is an initiation by His Holiness Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insaan, it is setup to provide the underprivileged the utmost necessities of life Food and cloth. As inspired by Reverened Guru Ji, millions of people come forward to volunteer help to the poor and disabled. Our college does never let such golden opportunities of service to mankind pass untouched. Every month college offers food to those needy and disabled who are by and large unable to meet with the basic needs of life. Our girls keep weekly fast so that they may save enough food to be given later to such persons. In four weeks of the month, whatever food they save or the equivalent amount to food, they donate it among the poor. Nothing is forced here rather they are so inspired and occupied with the idea to help that they can't help doing so.
It is widely known that education is the base right of an individual. Government too works hard to provide each and every child the compulsory basic education. A great agenda has been launched that every child below 14 is supposed to get compulsory and free education up to 8th standard. It is an appreciable effort of the government. But maximum children of the underprivileged and economically weaker families of the society being illiterate, reveals the sorry state of fact. It means more collective efforts at a wider scale are required. All need to get together to ensure a bright future. This is how the concept of 'Books Bank' means offering old books to the children of such families who are unable to buy the same due to poverty. It is a marvelous aid which pace up the interest of such children who otherwise have quit education altogether for the want of books and other study material. Our college girls relish to render this selfless service unto the children who have desire to study but can't afford the wages of study material. This healthy trend is in practice for past many a years since the sole inspirer, His Holiness Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan preached in this regard. Students taking part in this job excel in the studies too for the well wishes of the poor children upheave their intellectual and spiritual strengths. It results in enhanced confidence level, positively affecting all spheres of life It is a noble cause that empowers the society at its root. Today's children are the future of tomorrow. Suppose, today's children are self sufficient, then surely our future society is bound to be a happier one. Lastly, on behalf of college girls, we request all to partake this noble responsibility to make the society healthier.
