In continuation of the 16 Days of Activism for Ending Gender-Based Violence campaign, as directed by the District Administration, Sirsa, the Women Cell in collaboration with the Guidance & Counselling Cell is organizing an Awareness Programme on Gender-Based Violence on 7th January 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Seminar Hall. The programme will include an Oath Taking Ceremony against Gender-Based Violence, an awareness lecture on the causes, consequences, and preventive measures of gender-based violence, and information on legal rights, reporting mechanisms, and support systems available for women.
All students and faculty members are required to participate, as the aim is to promote a safe and inclusive society. Your presence will contribute to raising awareness and taking collective responsibility against gender-based violence.
