In a stunning display of talent, Heta (BA 1st Year) impressed everyone with her Classical Dance performance, securing Fourth Position in the competition. शाह सतनाम जी गर्ल्स कॉलेज सिरसा में छात्राओं को कराया सूर्य नमस्कार का अभ्यास सिरसा (11 जनवरी 2025 ) शाह सतनाम जी गर्ल्स कॉलेज सिरसा में मंगलवार को स्वामी विवेकानंद की जयंती 12 जनवरी से लेकर स्वामी दयानन्द सरस्वती की जयंती 12 फरवरी तक सूर्य नमस्कार अभियान चलाया जिसमें हर-घर परिवार सूर्य नमस्कार अभियान के तहत छात्राओं को सूर्य नमस्कार का अभ्यास करवाया गया। इसमें एनएसएस, एनसीसी, रैड रिबन क्लब, रेड क्रॉस और फिजिकल एजुकेशन विभाग की छात्राओं ने सूर्य नमस्कार किया। बता दें कि कॉलेज की छात्राएं 12 जनवरी से निरन्तर सूर्य नमस्कार का अभ्यास कर रहीं हैं। आज कॉलेज की समस्त छात्राओं ने इसमें भाग लिया। इस दौरान कॉलेज की फिजिकल एजुकेशन की सहायक प्रो मैडम रमन सेठी ने सूर्य नमस्कार के 12 आसनों व इससे होने वाले लाभों के बारे में छात्राओं को जानकारी दी और रोजाना कम से कम 2 से 5 बार सूर्य नमस्कार का अभ्यास करने के लिए प्रेरित किया। इसके अलावा बताया गया कि सूर्य नमस्कार से पहले खुद को वार्म अप करना चाहिए व जल्दबाजी की बजाय धीरे-धीरे करना चाहिए। सूर्य नमस्कार करते समय आसनों की सही मुद्रा होनी चाहिए, पेट भरा हुआ नहीं होना चाहिए, अभ्यास करते समय ढीले और आरामदायक कपड़े पहनने चाहिए। इस मौके पर स्टाफ ने भी सूर्य नमस्कार का अभ्यास किया। कॉलेज प्राचार्या डॉ गीता मोंगा ने इस योगाभ्यास को दैनिक जीवन में अपनाने के लिए सभी को प्रेरित किया। उन्होंने बताया कि सूर्य नमस्कार से संपूर्ण शरीर को आरोग्य शक्ति व ऊर्जा प्राप्त होती है। सूर्यनमस्कार के दौरान एनएसएस इंचार्ज पूनम धमीजा, रैड क्रॉस यूनिट से डा मोनिका, एनसीसी यूनिट से मैडम मीना के साथ साथ मैडम तजिंदर, मैडम रूबी और मैडम गुरदीप ने अपना सहयोग दिया। #SwamiVivekananda #SwamiDayanandSaraswati #birthday #swamidayanand #SwamiVivekanandaJayanthi #suryanamaskar #asana #shahsatnamjigirlscollege #sirsa

Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ College, Sirsa, Triumphs at CDLU’s Geography Quiz and Poster-Making Competition On 7th February 2025, Shah Satnam Ji Girls' College, Sirsa, achieved a remarkable position by securing 1st position in the highly competitive Geography Quiz Competition and 3rd position in the Poster Making Competition at Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU), Sirsa. Different Colleges participated in event but our team outshined with its knowledge and presentation skills. The Geography Quiz team, comprising Barbie, Ritika, and Deepika, exhibited outstanding expertise in Oceanography, Geomorphology, Climatology, Remote Sensing, and Miscellaneous Topics, leading them to a well-deserved victory. Their deep understanding and strategic approach make them winners in this competition. In the Poster Making Competition, Dharmpreet and Japneet displayed remarkable artistic and conceptual skills, earning them 3rd position with their insightful and creative presentation. This achievement was made possible under the guidance of Dr Rishu Tomar, IQAC Director and Head of the Geography Department, whose mentorship played a crucial role in the teams’ success.
